Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things

"We all have the ability. The difference is how we use it." Stevie Wonder

You too can become a CASA volunteer and be rewarded with some of the most powerful and fulfilling experiences you can find. No experience necessary (training provided.) Persons with diverse backgrounds and life experiences are encouraged to apply.

Since July 2006 CASA-CAN volunteers have advocated for every new child that has been thrust into the youth in need of care system. It is absolutely critical that guardians ad litem continue to be available to advocate for all abused and neglected children to have a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible. Contact CASA today and learn how you can help a child.

It's an unfortunate fact that abuse, neglect, and the need for CASA guardian ad litem volunteers won't go away anytime soon. Right here at home children are first abused, neglected or abandoned, then they are taken from the only  home they have ever known and propelled into a system they don't understand. We must ensure that these kids have a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) guardian ad litem to speak in their best interests.

CASA is the only volunteer organization that empowers local citizens to speak on behalf of abused and neglected children.

You can make a difference in a child's life when you volunteer as a CASA. CASAs are ordinary people who are committed to doing what is best for a child. They come from all walks of life and have diverse professional, educational, and ethnic backgrounds. Over 50% work full-time. The common denominator among all CASAs is their sincere concern for the well-being of children.
